Antibody class: IgG1λ ARP-12040 is a monoclonal antibody that reacts with the V3 loop of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) envelope glycoprotein (gp120). It is purified from hybridoma culture supernatant and contains traces of FBS IgG. The hybridoma was generated using human Epstein-Barr Virus-transformed cells fused with heteromyeloma SHM-D33 cells. ARP-12040 was developed from an HIV-1-infected individual. It binds by ELISA to V3 peptides derived from Clade A, B and C viruses and neutralizes viruses from various clades. Each vial of ARP-12040 contains approximately 100 μg of purified antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) at a concentration of 1.5 mg /mL. Note: Avoid freeze-thaw cycles as reagent degradation may result.
